The Ferrari Challenge which spread all over Europe and North America was originally raced with special versions of the 348, followed by the F355 Challenge and the 360 Challenge in 2000. Externally, the race car was not much different from the road car except for BBS lightweight wheels, a lower ride height, a Challenge grill and sliding windows. The engine was from the Modena developing 400 HP. The F1 gearbox has been modified to allow high speed shifting (around 150 ms) and equipped with its own oil cooler and a racing clutch. The suspensions have also been upgraded and the Challenge is around 120 kg lighter than the 360 Modena. The 360 Challenge were supplied to the Ferrari Challenge racers from 2000 to 2004. The three championships in Italy, Europe and USA used the same cars. The car we are proud to offer is a genuine 360 Challenge delivered new in France to one of the most important clients of Ferrari-France. He never raced with this car, not even participated in the test drives of the Ferrari Challenge. This car was kept in new condition in his office, underneath a cover (he works in the tissue business and his company makes all the embroideries for Ferrari clothing). He even rent a car from a Swiss team when he decided to participate in a race (in Nogaro 2003). He only used this car three times with his clients for race track inaugurations in Albi. HE also ordered spare parts for 100,000 Euros, but most of them have already been resold in the meantime. The car never had the slightest impact or scratches. Later the car was resold to a collector who only used it in a couple of club events and for the opening of the “Rallye de Lorraine Classic”. Thus It has only been driven 4000 km and is today in close to new condition. It has always been perfectly maintained and is in perfect working order. The complete spares package is available: 1 complete sets of supplementary BBS wheels, mounted with racing dry tires; + a set of new painted bumpers, + a set of brake discs and pads, + diverse parts in a small box that we haven’t listed in particular.
